Key holding / Point Of Contact

We can look after your keys for free and will only charge if you need us to go to your property for whatever reason e.g. let in somebody who needs to gain access out of season like a delivery man or utility company. During the winter months we can also take utility readings and forward any post on to you. If needs be we can be the point of contact for your guests should any problems arise during their stay or simply to ask advice.

Full Spring Clean

We can open your house up and basically give it a good airing and a thorough spring clean ready for your first visit or for your guests. Fresh linen on the beds, fridges/freezers turned on, etc will ensure everything is ready for a hassle-free holiday. We can also open your pool and get your garden looking great for the summer.

Turn-around day

Maintaining a clean and tidy gite will ensure your guests have a great holiday and provide a good reputation for you, which could affect future bookings. We can provide a complete inventory inspection as well, making sure that anything broken is replaced as soon as possible. We can then clean and prepare the place for the arrival of your next guests ensuring a seamless continuity of service at the highest possible standard.

End of season shut-down

If your holiday home is shut for the winter, we provide a complete property inspection and inventory with photographs if necessary. All electrical appliances will have a thorough clean, fridges emptied, freezers defrosted and unplugged if required. We can also shut down your pool and clear your garden ready for the spring.

Regular security checks

Although we are lucky enough to live in a very low crime region of France, break-ins do happen from time to time. Our regular property inspections will also provide peace of mind that any problems like burst pipes or storm damage are taken care of as quickly as possible. We will email you photographs of any issues we feel you need to be aware of.

Babysitting Service

We understand that sometimes you or your guests may just want a night off from taking care of the kids while out in France. We now offer a police-checked babysitting service in the region (NB: within 30 minutes from Gourdon).

Project Manager

With years of experience dealing with French artisans, our team has built up an impressive knowledge when problem solving and managing building projects. So it doesn’t matter whether it’s a simple wooden shed or double-storey extension using traditional building methods, we can do the lot.

We have several builders to choose from, many with specific skills such as dry stone walling or plaster boarding. Each has glowing references and extensive experience dealing with the traditional old stone buildings and with more modern ones.

We look at each job on a project-by-project basis. We spend a lot of time understanding your exact needs and making sure each artisan knows their role. Keeping a project on time and to budget is our primary goal. We will also keep you informed of any progress on a regular basis as well with emails, photographs and Skype calls if necessary.
